Biography

Where business performance, human development, and health meet.

Dolores Grace works at an intersection most careers never touch. Over more than thirty years she has designed experiences, run operations, developed talent, and coached people toward better health; treating them as one subject: what people need in order to do their best work.

She has always believed that people stay where they are fed, not where they are told to fit. That conviction is the foundation of The Leadership Firm, where she serves as Founder and Chief Experience Officer.

Her path began in experience design, where she launched 26 operational concepts from alpha to omega, first idea to stabilized operation. Many were multimillion-dollar, multi-use projects spanning luxury resorts, fine dining, multi-family housing, and even a city revitalization, and one served as a launch site for Arizona’s first Super Bowl. She created press-worthy experiences for celebrities, international political leaders, royalty, and the President of the United States and First Family, earning national and international awards and a Certificate of Appreciation from the White House.

Every launch meant building a team from scratch, some numbering in the hundreds. Dolores has interviewed more than 8,000 people at every level and overseen operations across departments, including as Director of Operations at International Air Ambulance. For years, she worked incognito as an entry-level employee to learn what the front line truly needs.

“Every experience, including the experience of work, is designed, whether anyone intends it or not.”

Wellness is the other half of her story. As president of Fit+Well Dynamics, an accredited naturopath, a master-level health coach, and a certified nutritionist, Dolores brings health and performance together for private and corporate clients worldwide. She explains that health is not separate from performance; it is the foundation of it.

The range is the point. Dolores reads an organization the way an operator does, a talent strategist does, an owner does, and a health practitioner does, and she brings all four to the room. Today, she partners with organizations to turn employees into stakeholders: developing leaders, coaching teams, and identifying Difference Makers who share an organization’s values and ambitions.

She is the author of two books, with a third on the way, and speaks nationwide on leadership, people strategies, experience design, and health and wellness. Her through-line is a relentless zeal for people and excellence. If it can improve a person’s performance or quality of life, she is interested.

Beyond The Work

Age is just mileage.

For roughly 12 years, Dolores has run her age in miles in a single day and turned the effort into a fundraiser. This year that is 56 miles through Phoenix and Scottsdale, benefiting Champions for the Homeless.

It is the same belief she brings to every client: commitment is built one step at a time, and it runs deepest when it is for something bigger than yourself.
